Burnaby Goes Green with LED Streetlights

With healthy retail stores like Whole Foods soon to enter the SOLO district, we are about to receive another go-green badge for being good Burnaby citizens. The City of Burnaby will be the first municipality in B.C. to complete a full conversion to LED streetlights. What does this mean for our community? A remarkable 58 per cent annual reduction in energy consumption!
