Get moving at SOLO District, Altus

Construction continues at the very top of SOLO District, Altus, more than 500 feet above ground level. But down below, people are already shopping, working and even getting fit.

 

The very first office tenants have moved into Altus and we look forward to introducing you to them soon. First, though, we’re going to give you a look at the new building’s recently unveiled fitness space.

The first week of spring brought beautiful cherry blossoms and also marked the arrival of another wonderful retailer at the SOLO District. BC Liquor Store finally opened its doors with its grand opening on March 25th.  Located on the ground floor of our plaza, its wide selection of liquor and drinks serve as a great compliment to the diverse Whole Foods offerings next door.

SOLO DISTRICT NEIGHBOURHOOD ADVENTURES: FROM BRENTWOOD TOWN CENTRE STATION TO WATERFRONT

Today’s adventure spotlight is on SOLO District’s closest attraction – the Brentwood Town Centre Skytrain Station. Rather than commuting around town by car, today’s itinerary will take you on a Skytrain expedition. Public transit is highly encouraged for its sustainable nature – and with the station literally steps away, you should take full advantage of it!

As the New Year begins, we are excited as the construction of SOLO District’s second tower, Altus, moves closer to completion. At over 550 feet above ground, it is set to become Burnaby’s tallest building. Taking over recent giants like the Sovereign, Metroplace and Silver, the Altus tower will stand out from the pack with its luxurious rooftop facility: Club 55.
